Rental conditions Releash Aljezur

We (Dorien and Sjoerd van den Akker) welcome you to Guesthouse Releash Aljezur. The following conditions apply to all our bookings. We therefore ask you to read it carefully.

Reservation and confirmation

A reservation can be made by phone, email or directly through our booking system on our website.

Booking by phone or e-mail

● After receiving your reservation request, we will send you an invoice with a payment link within 24 hours provided we can accept the reservation.
● Your stay must be paid in advance. After receiving the invoice and payment link, you must pay the invoice amount into our account within 1 week. After that, your booking is final.
● If we do not receive your payment within 1 week, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
● Only once this payment has been made will the booking be final. After payment, you agree to our rental terms and conditions.

Booking directly via our MyTourist booking system

● Through our website, it is also possible to make a direct booking.
● Payment must be made directly via Stripe
● After payment, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your booking and the booking is final.
● If payment has not been made after 2 hours, the booking will be cancelled automatically.

If your booking is made in a way other than directly through www.releash-aljezur.com, those payment terms may differ from the above payment terms.

Arrival and departure

● Check-in is standard between 4 PM and 7 PM.
● Check-out before 10AM.
● Different times by arrangement and based on availability.

Our rates

● Our rates are in euros and depend on the room and the number of nights you stay. The rate on the invoice is binding.
● The rental price includes final cleaning (€10,- per room) and the use of linen and towels.
● The rental price does not include breakfast provided that this is booked and mentioned on the invoice.
● Costs for a baby cot are €10,- per stay.

Cancellation terms

● In the unlikely event that you are unable to use our guesthouse and need to cancel your planned stay, please notify us as soon as possible.
● If there is a cancellation by the tenant, the owner (Releash Aljezur) is entitled to the following compensation:

o Up to 8 weeks before the arrival date: 50% of the total rent.

o Within 8 weeks to 2 weeks before the arrival date: 75% of the total rent.

o Within 2 weeks before the arrival date: 100% of the total rent.

If your reservation is made in a different way than directly via www.releash-aljezur.com the cancellation policy may differ from the above cancellation policy.

We advise you to take out cancellation insurance in any case.

Liability

● During the stay in our guesthouse, the tenant is liable for the room, the furnishings and all matters that belong to the rented object.
● Any damage caused by the tenant or co-tenants must be reported to the owner immediately.
● In case of direct damage or loss to property of Releash Aljezur caused by you as a guest, additional costs will be charged for the tenant.
● The owner is, except for legal liability, never liable for loss, theft and / or (injury) damage, caused to or by tenants of Releash Aljezur and is therefore limited to the amount that has been owed for the rented property.
● The owner is not liable for damage caused by natural disasters, natural disasters, nuclear disasters, attacks, strikes, violence and other external factors.
● Owner shall not be liable or responsible for damage, loss or alterations due to factors beyond its control.
● The owner has the right to cancel a reservation at any time if circumstances beyond the owner's control force or require him to do so. In such a case, the owner is only obliged to refund the (part of the) rent already paid by the tenant.
● Dutch law applies to our rental conditions. Any disputes must be submitted to a competent court in the Netherlands.

Additional conditions

● Smoking is not allowed inside the guesthouse. It is prohibited in all indoor areas and all rooms.
● Smoking is only allowed on our outside patio.
● Smoking inside may result in a fine of up to € 750,-
● Pets are not allowed.
● Only paying guests have access to the property.
● Access by third parties takes place in consultation with the owner.
● The tenant guarantees that the room or house will be used exclusively for holiday purposes. If it appears that the tenant has used the house - without the owner's knowledge - for other (commercial) purposes than holidays, the owner is entitled to terminate the lease immediately, under penalty of a fine of € 10,000,-.
● Guests must follow the owner's instructions.
● The owner may deny guests access to the guesthouse with immediate effect in case of violation of these rental conditions, the house rules or inappropriate behavior. Without further notice and without refund of rental fees.
● Releash Aljezur reserves the right to change the rental conditions without prior notice.
